Alliance Cities and Regions strengthen their cooperation

In addition to preparing strategic guidelines on Alliance internal functioning and future activities, the Alliance participants have agreed to strengthen their cooperation through the use of an intranet website, to be put online in the course of July. This tool will allow them to be most effective in sharing key information about their respective projects and policies for Roma inclusion at local and regional level, with a view to better learn from each other.

The exchange of views and experience on aspects such as needs-assessment, planning processes, funding schemes, challenges, successes, and lessons learnt shall contribute significantly to mutual learning and improvement of projects and policies. This intranet website will also provide basic data about the profiles of participating cities and regions as well as information on various topics of key importance for local policies and projects for Roma inclusion, including data on the access to and use of European funds. Alliance participants will also be able to use this website to identify potential partners for joint projects and related activities.
