16 new signatures for the Declaration against anti-Gypsyism
16 Greek municipalities signed the Declaration against anti-Gypsyism at a meeting in Athens on 12 April 2018, expressing their strong commitment to combat anti-Gypsyism in their municipalities and regions. To date, a total of 20 Greek municipalities and regions have signed the Declaration.
Furthermore the Mayor of Nemea, Konstantinos KALANTHIS;
the General Secretary of the Municipality of Ampelokipoi-Menemeni, Athanasios PAPAGEORGIOU;
the Deputy Mayor of Agios Anargyros-Kametero, Nikolaos PANTELIAS;
the Deputy Mayor of Chalkideon, Mihael KERATSAS;
the Mayor of Erimanthos, Athanasios KARPIS,
the Deputy Mayor of Megara, Eleni Riga,
the Mayor of Agia Varvara; Georgios KAPLANIS;
the Vice-Mayor of Volos, Despina KOTOGLOU,
the Mayor of Paranesti, Alexandra-Marina SOTIRADOU
and the Mayor of Samos and Vice President of the Congress, Michalis ANGELOPOULOS signed the Declaration against anti-Gypsiysm.
